Well just about anything can cause you to gain weight, provided that you are over-consuming way over your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure). However avocados can actually help you stay slim because they are so dense and filling that they keep you full for a long time! 🥑 And an avocado a day can be part of a balanced diet and a great way to get your daily fat consumption! Avocado consumption is associated with improved overall diet quality, nutrient intake, and reduced risk of metabolic syndrome.
